What are your hours of operation?
River's Bend Children's Center's hours of quality education are 6:30am - 6:30pm, Monday through Friday. We close all federal holidays and post our closing schedule for all families.
What age children do you accept?
River’s Bend Children’s Center enrolls children ages 8 weeks to 12 years old. We offer full time care for infants through preschool. We offer before and after school care for children ages 5 – 12 yrs. Transportation is provided for those who attend Enon and Elizabeth Scott Elementary schools. We also offer a full time Summer Camp program for school age children.
Do you provide part-time care?
River’s Bend Children’s Center only provides full-time care for children.
How do I enroll my child?
You may call the center to inquire about open positions. Our preschool building phone number is 804-530-1256. Our infant, toddler and school age building phone number is 804-530-5600.
What are the fees?
There is an annual registration fee due at enrollment. Tuition fees are charged and paid on a weekly basis.
May I tour your facility?
Absolutely. Tours are scheduled based on enrollment availability.
What security precautions are present?
River’s Bend Children’s Center has a locked front entrance with a security code key pad. The center is also equipped with video monitoring system surveillance throughout the center. The main monitor is located in the front office for continued viewing of the areas. Parents are welcome and encouraged to view these monitors for observation of their child’s classroom.
Do you provide meals and snacks?
Yes. We provide USDA approved nutritious lunches, as well as morning and afternoon snacks to the children. Menus have been prepared to meet the daily nutritional requirements.
Do the children get to go outside?
Yes. There is morning and afternoon playground time worked into every class schedule. (Weather permitting)
How long has River’s Bend Children’s Center been in operation?
